The BRIDGE Initiative (update)

Ten16 is grateful for such strong community support!

Ten16 Recovery Network proudly announces grant awards from The Charles J. Strosacker Foundation, The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow Foundation, and The Midland Area Community Foundation over the past few months to support its transformative B.R.I.D.G.E. Initiative. This 30-month endeavor will enhance Ten16’s capacity to meet the growing service demand and position the organization for long-term success.

The B.R.I.D.G.E. Initiative, an acronym encapsulating Building, Replication, Infrastructure, Durable Growth, and Execution, is an expansive and strategic plan designed to bolster the organization’s foundational elements. Its primary objectives include enhancing the organization’s infrastructure, cultivating a skilled and adaptable workforce, and securing long-term financial sustainability.

As Ten16 embarks on this transformative journey, the B.R.I.D.G.E. Initiative will play a pivotal role in expanding programs that cater to evolving community needs, refining internal systems for greater efficiency, and establishing robust succession plans that ensure a seamless transfer of leadership and upholding standards of excellence over time. This initiative represents a proactive approach to navigating growth challenges while maintaining a focus on resilience and future success.

“These grants are a testament to the trust and confidence our community foundations have in Ten16’s mission and vision for the future,” said Sam Price, President/CEO of Ten16 Recovery Network. “The B.R.I.D.G.E. Initiative will empower us to meet increasing community needs while preserving the values of a free, open, and resourceful society.”

The funding will be directed toward several key objectives:

  • Succession Planning: Preparing leadership for future transitions.
  • Program Development: Expanding proven initiatives to serve more communities.
  • Capacity Building: Strengthening internal infrastructure to scale operations effectively.
  • Financial Health: Ensuring sustainability to deliver long-term impact.
  • Staff Development: Investing in the growth and excellence of Ten16’s dedicated team.
  • Responsive Expansion: Enhancing the organization’s ability to adapt to community needs efficiently.

Through this collaborative investment, Ten16 is poised to enhance its capabilities and realize its strategic goals significantly. This transformation will strengthen its efforts to effectively address the complex challenges of substance misuse, addiction, and recovery faced by individuals in the region. By implementing innovative strategies and expanding its resources, Ten16 is paving the way for a more hopeful and promising future for those impacted by these issues.
