Ten16 Hosts 7th Annual Ten16 Day, Celebrating Alumni and the Power of Recovery
On Wednesday, October 16th, Ten16 Recovery Network proudly hosted the 7th annual Ten16 Day, an inspiring gathering for alumni of its residential program, their family, friends, and members of the broader recovery community. More than 80 attendees attended, creating an atmosphere of unity, celebration, and hope.
A highlight of the day was hearing from four alumni who shared their inspiring personal stories of recovery. Their stories provided a glimpse into their journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and the role that Ten16 Recovery Network has played in their transformation. The powerful testimonials served as a reminder of the strength and resilience within the recovery community and the impact of supportive connections.
“These stories are a testament to the hope and renewal possible with community support,” said Paul Wolanin, Residential Manager of Ten16 Recovery Network. “Ten16 Day reminds us that recovery is not just about overcoming challenges but also about celebrating growth, unity, and the bonds we build along the way.”
Attendees also enjoyed tours of Ten16’s new forest therapy trail, a recent addition to the organization’s programming. The trail, designed as a natural space for relaxation, reflection, and healing, proved popular among guests, offering them a unique way to connect with nature as part of their wellness journey.
Hidden Harvest, which generously provided food for all guests, further supported the event’s success. Their contribution enabled Ten16 Recovery Network to create a warm, inclusive environment where guests could relax, reconnect, and celebrate their progress.
Ten16 Day is a meaningful annual event for alumni to return, reconnect, and continue building bonds within the recovery community. As Ten16 Recovery Network looks forward to next year’s event, the organization remains committed to empowering individuals to take charge of their lives and support each other in the journey toward lasting recovery.
