COALITION

We want everyone to enjoy drug-free living and feel connected to a community of others who care.

Research shows that the same children and youth who begin to experiment with drug and alcohol misuse frequently have had trauma in their background, are struggling in school, may have had some brush with the authorities and become more active in high-risk behavior.

We believe that our best opportunity to change the trajectory of those young lives is through community coalitions.

Ten16 has organized groups of concerned professionals, parents and youth who care about the quality of life in our hometowns. We work with communities to:

• Create caring environments
• Promote wellness
• Teach people how to make positive, healthy choices

In addition to community coalitions, we’re always open to partnerships with other organizations supporting recovery in Central Michigan!
