Visitors must be pre-approved

Ten16 Recovery Network is committed to providing the best, most successful treatment experience possible.

We believe that supportive family and friends are an important part of the recovery process for our clients.

Part of being supportive is to learn as much as possible about the disease of addiction while being provided an opportunity to ask appropriate questions and discuss concerns, both with treatment staff as well as with other families and friends who are dealing with similar issues.

That’s why we’re happy to offer weekly visitation days!

Visiting hours

In support of family involvement, Ten16 Recovery Network offers weekly visitation hours every Sunday afternoon.

All pre-approved visitors will be expected to gather for a brief welcome session with staff prior to being allowed to visit. Because it is a very busy time with lots of people, we ask that visitors be on time (but arriving no earlier than 15 minutes before the visitation period).  If visitors are not on time, they may be turned away.

Pre-approval process

All visits from a family member or friend must be pre-approved by the residential staff

The person involved in treatment will be asked to submit a list of family and friends they might have visit while they are in our care. They will have the option to select 2 adult visitors for each Sunday visit. Children may visit and are not limited by number unless space constraints become an issue.

Bringing items to clients

Clients are provided a list of items to bring with them when they enter treatment. If a client has forgotten items or needs additional items brought, this may be done at any time within the first week of treatment. Arrangements must be made with Recovery Navigator staff to ensure that items are dropped off at an appropriate time. Items may not be given directly to the client, but must be brought to the Navigator office for approval and distribution.

After the first week of treatment, all additional item drop-off’s MUST occur at the beginning of family visitation on Sundays. Items approved for Sunday drop-off include:

  • Needed clothing
  • Money (to purchase items from the store)
  • Cigarettes

Please understand that clients are not able to receive the following items while in treatment:

  • Food (including packaged foods)
  • Beverages

Again, items may not be given directly to the client, but must be brought to the Recovery Navigator staff office for approval and distribution. Items dropped off outside of these parameters will be refused by staff.
