RECOVERY FRIENDLY WORKPLACES

As a Recovery Friendly Advisor, Ten16 Recovery Network trains Michigan employers to create healthy and safe work environments that support people in recovery — making communities stronger and businesses better!

What is a Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW)?

The Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) initiative expands positive and supportive employment opportunities for people recovering from substance or opiate misuse.

As one of Michigan’s leading recovery organizations, Ten16 serves as the Recovery Friendly Advisor serving Arenac, Bay, Saginaw, Gladwin, Midland, Clare, Isabella, Osceola, and Mecosta Counties. In this role, we train employers on:

  • What substance misuse is and how recovery works
  • Where to access community resources
  • How to build a supportive, stigma-free workplace
