Recovery in Bloom!

Planting Hope: A Spring Tradition at Ten16’s Gladwin Recovery Center
With Gratitude to Walraven’s Markets for Their Generous Support

Each spring, something beautiful happens outside the Gladwin Recovery Center—not just in the soil, but in the hearts of those tending it.

As part of an annual tradition, clients at Ten16’s Gladwin site come together to plant new flowers in the garden beds in front of the office entrance. With their hands in the earth and the sun on their backs, this simple act of planting becomes a powerful symbol of growth, renewal, and recovery.

The flowers are more than decoration. They represent the journeys of each person working toward a new life. Every bloom mirrors the hope that recovery brings—messy, patient, and resilient. And each spring, this tradition gives clients a tangible reminder that they, too, are growing, one day at a time.

This year’s garden is especially vibrant thanks to the generous donation of flowers from Walraven’s Markets in Gladwin. Their continued support of our recovery community makes a real and lasting difference, not just in how our center looks, but in how it feels—welcoming, nurturing, and full of life.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Walraven’s for helping us carry on this meaningful tradition. And to the clients who helped plant this year’s garden: thank you for sharing your hope with all who walk through our doors.

Stop by and see the blooms when you’re in town. They’re a reminder that healing is possible—and that recovery can be just as beautiful as the flowers it inspires. 🌼🌿
