Some people have limited resources. Ten16 works diligently to keep quality high and fees low. We have a lean administrative team, and keep our efforts focused on client care. Ten16 does have some options available. We encourage you to follow the link for more details about our financial assistance and fees.
Because Ten16 Recovery Network participates in Michigan's public system of care, we are able to bill Medicaid and the Healthy Michigan Plan, which many of our clients qualify for. In addition, the agency has the ability to access federal block grant funds if a person does not have insurance or is under-insured with limited resources. However, there are income and residency requirements. If eligible, these funds would cover most of the cost of treatment and support services other than a modest co-pay for some services. In addition, Ten16 does have a sliding fee scale available for treatment services. It does not apply to education classes, drug testing, evaluations for the court or to get a driver's license. Ten16's staff will be able to walk you through all of the available options.
Does Ten16 offer payment plans? This question is especially asked about our various residential services: detox, residential treatment and/or recovery housing. The initial program fees or associated deductibles/co-pays must be paid at the time of admission. Discounts may be available if fees are paid in advance. Ten16 will refund any unused portion. Fees are payable by cash, check or credit card. Ten16 does not offer a payment plan. Being a small non-profit, we don't have the resources to invest in determining financial need, reduced fees and monitoring a variety of individual payment plans.
